This course discusses the symptoms and etiology of peptic ulcer disease and the underlying pathophysiology of gastric and duodenal ulcers. We covered important points about the evaluation of patient with ulcers and important teaching points in patient education. Both pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatments are addressed.
